Preparation

Our rehearsal season is limited, and we have lots of complicated & wonderful parts to learn! And because we know you all make a significant commitment of your time to be in the group, we want to make sure everyone's time is used efficiently. No one wants to rush to get to a rehearsal on time only to sit idle while another section gets taught its part. For this reason, and to make sure we sound our best at the concert, we ask that everyone work on their parts on their own time. The Study Aids page has downloadable sheet music and part-by-part audio files for folks to use. Then, we can use our group rehearsal time for things like balance, blend, dynamics, and groove!

Miscellaneous

* If you are sick, or think you might be coming down with something, don't come to rehearsal! This is a time of year when cold & flu bugs are on the prowl, and we want to keep the group healthy for our performances. Also consider getting a flu shot.

* Please refrain from wearing perfume or after-shave; some in the group are allergic to it.

* Remember to turn off your cell phone ringer.

* At the end of rehearsal, please put the room back to its pre-rehearsal condition -- move chairs back to their original positions, etc.
